the sun rises, and eventually sets. but, its the sunset that is the most beautiful thing of the day.

and to the class of beautiful basket ball players, i cant agree more.
its been a long time hasnt it?
so on the last official day of school, did u savour your last trip on the bus? did you say hello to the security guard? did you savour the last bits of canteen food? did u show appreciation to your teachers? and most importantly, did u all have fun with your friends which could well be the last time u had fun with them?
nobody likes goodbyes.
however it is usually the farewells that makes us appreciate one another much more. it is the autographs that we sign that make us recall how good a friend they have been. its the tears we shared that binds us together and the laughter we give that unites us.
its just a pity that this farewell is tarnished with the anxiety for the a levels. im not saying its not good to feel urgent, i just feel that its a pity.
i have done tributes for alot of things, and now im going to do a tribute for this class, the class that have been the cornerstone of my journey in junior college life, and a very intersting one indeed.
from the card games we played,
the outings we had,
the pw nights we bled on
thepictures we took
the jokes we shared
the homework we copied
the teachers we pissed off
the things we spoiled
the teachers we apologies to in unison (for copying in chem!)
the hoops we shot
the sl we organised
songs we sang
...*
*what does the author want to say about the fun things he had with his class when he uses this punctuation?
and dont forget ALL the teachers too. the road of our long but seemingly short journey.
Mr Chu: the one who proves the irony that he can teach seriously by being unserious
Mr How (die i dunno how spell ): the ultimate joker that laugh at my fis chem pathetic results
Mrs Lee : our fis chinese teacher that pang seh us for 2608
Ms Siva: edmunds best friend.
Mr seng: our teacher, our friend.
Miss Yiak : best econs lecturer!
Miss Ho: may not seem like it, but she cares for us alot.
Mdm Khoo : the coolest, most caring chem teacher around.
Mr Ang: sacarsm is his sword. yet knowledge is his power.
and finally,
mr lee hay beng
yes, some of us may not like him as much, and he may not be the best teacher around, but think about it:
when he nags at us, like parents do. he treats us like his children.
he takes attendance for us and we sometimes make it difficult for him lol, but he never gives up and even calls us if we are late.
he stands to the side when we want to take pictures with him. ( i have the feeling he dosent want to spoil things for us.)
he calls us wen we are sick ( or ask someone else to call )
he was concerned when i almost retained (sniff...)
he offered to find a dictionary for me when i told him my electronic dictionary couldnt work b4 the a levels.
he is humble as pie ( dosent want any teacher awards)
he extends his homework deadlines way beyond any other subject. ( come on u have to give it to him. i handed one 2 months late and he still gladly marked it.)
he is pretty funny too if u know him better,
and most importantly, he is our form teacher.
whatever he may have done for us, though may not be to our liking, i all believe it is just for our own good.
like the movie i not stupid too stated : 最爱你了,但却不懂的爱.
i may do a photo post in the future, as its not truely our good bye. it is more to the teachers.
come on, give them all a big hand. our A's to come are partly due to them.
ur friend,
ken.
